Hi there and welcome!
My name is Britt Fossum, and I’m the one behind this website
After many years of working and traveling, both for business and personal adventures, I’ve now entered retirement. But my desire to stay active and contribute to something meaningful is still strong. That’s why I started this project, a website with travel tips for adults and seniors, based on experience, curiosity, and a good dose of practical sense. Hopefully, it’ll be useful for you too.
Why travel?
Throughout much of my professional life, I was often on the move. Business trips, incentive travels, and personal vacations have given me lots of experience with smart packing techniques, travel gear that actually works, and how to make trips easier, whether it’s a weekend getaway or a longer vacation. When space in your suitcase is limited, or you’re only traveling with carry-on luggage, you have to think smart.
And that’s exactly the kind of experience I want to share with you, so you can save time, space, and stress.
For those who want to travel smart and safely, at any age.
Many travel gear companies and travel agencies target young adventurers. But we, with a bit more life experience, also travel, and often with more calm and greater awareness of what truly matters. On this site, you’ll find travel inspiration, product recommendations, smart packing tips, and suggestions for travel items that make your trips more comfortable and well thought-out.
I’ve also noticed that many travel operators and stores don’t necessarily think about us who are over 60. I want to help change that by highlighting solutions and products that actually suit senior travelers.
Here’s what you can expect to find on the site:
– Practical packing tips
– Recommendations for travel products and gear for adults
– Helpful advice for comfortable and safe journeys
– A focus on what makes travel easier, before, during, and after your trip
Who is this site for?
It’s for you who want to see more of the world, or just make smarter choices for your next trip. Whether you travel with a suitcase, by train, by plane, or with a backpack, I hope you find something here that makes your journey a little easier, a little lighter, and maybe a bit more fun.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey, even if it’s just digitally!
